Water Resistance Tester series WRT SM-8850E
The SM-8850E series Water-Resistance Testers were newly developed featuring a high-performance measuring system, a pressure chamber optimized for high pressure machined in solid material and mounted in a robust all-metal frame. With its advanced performance offering a resolution of 0.01 µm, as well as its new algorithms for rapid leak detection, these machines benefit from exceptional accuracy with better and faster small leaks detection.
In order to detect leaks quickly and even earlier, new algorithms have been developed that fully exploit this resolution. These, in combination with a reworked and configurable controlled compressed air evacuation procedure (pulsed compressed air evacuation), drastically reduce the risk that a non-waterproof watch will have its watch glass ejected during decompression. In addition, a new feature allows measurement data to be sent to a computer for analysis and/or graphical results presentation. These new features, available as options, allow the machine to be customized to meet individual needs and preferences.
Available for maximum test pressures ranging from 10 to 50 bar, its pressure chamber specially designed for high pressure is fully machined from an aluminum alloy block (not casted), ensuring a defect-free material for even safer operations, while its optimized volume of only 0,5 liters reduces air consumption and significantly extends the compressor’s life. The large dimensions of its chamber make it possible to test very large watches: up to 35 mm thick, 79 mm wide and 104 mm long.
